NTEL Lëtzebuerg Telecom : one of the first players in telecommunication in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.
Our history begins a few years ago at the initiative of several engineers and technicians with diverse yet complementary experiences, associated around one project having in common a vision of service in the telecom sector, sharing the same professional ethics: these highly qualified people came together to think about alternative solutions to what different historical European operators were offering.
Forerunners of their time, the newly voted European laws would support the argument of our team’s visionaries: as a consequence, our customers at NTEL Lëtzebuerg Telecom have become our main matter of concern.
1998 is the year of all challenges: creation of a holding company, diversification in real-estate investment.
2004 : specific measure targeted towards Luxembourgish companies; developing dedicated products : Corporate Premium™, Shop’n’Call™.
2005 : NTEL Lëtzebuerg Telecom is the first Luxembourgish company to offer their customers a pioneering anti-roaming solution.
This service offers to reduce half of the additional costs linked to mobile phone roaming: at the same time, NTEL Lëtzebuerg Telecom independently endeavours its target “ORZ” (French: objectif Roaming Zéro, ‘target zero roaming’) by carrying out tests with several operators.
2007 : launching “all-inclusive” packages with exclusive offers to NTEL Lëtzebuerg Telecom in accordance to our customers’ needs. Gradual extension to the whole of the country: 82% of the concerned companies at the end of 2007.
Starting a Television Department by one of our associates with audiovisual expertise.
2007 : After 26 months of testing networks and mobile phone operators, “ORZ” is finalised and becomes “Quadrature Telecom”.
Merging Quadrature Telecom with its services for landlines, Ntel Lëtzebuerg Telecom works hand in hand with landlines and mobile phones: telephone subscriptions, broadband, VoIP, and mobiles offering you the telecom fusion.
